Visit Bethlehem Burners at the 2016 Glass Craft & Bead Expo in Las Vegas

glass craft and bead expoBethlehem Burners will attend the Glass Craft & Bead Expo, an educational glass working conference and leading art glass trade show, March 30th through April 3rd at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Founded in 1995, The Glass Craft & Bead Expo is a global glass working event, attracting artists and educators from around the world. It is home to the “Bead Bazaar”, a collection of specialty items, handmade beads, as well as jewelry created by popular glass artists.

Bethlehem Burners will have their entire torch line on display at show booth 211, including the Alpha bead burner, Bravo glass working torch, and Champion bench burner, as well as the torch manufacturer’s three-stage bench burner, the Grand. The Grand’s three separately controlled stages provide glass artists with unsurpassed control over flame sizes, heat potential, and fuel mixture, making it the most versatile and fuel efficient glass working torch available today. Representatives from Bethlehem Burners will be present to fulfill order requests and to answer questions.

Live demonstrations will be performed at the Bethlehem Burners show booth, highlighting the Bravo and how it runs on a single 10 LPM 10 PSI Regalia oxygen concentrator. Kate Hayes will be performing the demos and will be answering questions.

The Glass Craft & Bead Expo will bring new instructors to their already outstanding roster of instructors in an effort to bring the latest and greatest techniques to participants. Bethlehem Burners will be sponsoring and providing torches for four of the hands-on classes during the expo. Class topics will range from hot to cold glass working, including alternate printing techniques for glass, torch fired enameling, reusing scrap glass, and fused abstract techniques.

Bethlehem Burners will be offering the Bravo torches used in the classroom at a special 10% show discount to anyone attending the Expo. The torches are brand new and will only have been used during the classes. They come with our lifetime factory warranty, hose and Y connector set, instructions and cleaning kit. The final show price is $994.50. Each torch will be inspected by a Bethlehem Burners employee before it is sold. Students taking a class sponsored by Bethlehem have the ability to purchase the torches before all other Expo attendees.

Other opportunities at the expo include the beautiful display of artwork in the Gallery of Excellence, the Glass Cutting Contest on April 1st, and the charity auction on April 3rd.
