Bethlehem Burners donates Grand Torch to winner of Glass Games at the 2018 CHAMPS Trade Show

CHAMPS Trade Shows have been a staple in the counterculture industry for 18 years because of the amazing buyers and vendors who continue to attend show after show. Bethlehem Burners is excited to be a part of the action by having their torch line on display and donating a Grand torch to the winner of Glass Games.

The Glass Games is a highly anticipated event during CHAMPS where 40 finalists compete in a live glass blowing competition. Competitors have 2 days, 7 hours each day, to create a one of a kind functional piece following the theme, “Make a Statement.” The winner of the Glass Games competition will take home a beautiful Grand torch donated by Bethlehem Burners.

While Burners will not have a booth at the show this year, Kate Hayes will be walking around the show and talking to glass artists and answering any questions. The complete line of torches, including the recently launched The Stacks and The Sharp Flame Hand Torch, will be on display and available for purchase at the following booths:

– The Eugene Glass School, Booth #1931

– ABR Imagery, Booth #1731

The Sharp has an adjustable handle, allowing flame workers to position the valves in the best way that fits their hand and flameworking needs. It will come with two neck length options, allowing the flame worker to customize their hand torch. The hand torch produces a surface mix flame, and requires 2-5 psi for gas and 8-20 psi for oxygen.

CHAMPS will take place February 19th – 21st at the Tuscany Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
