Warranty

Bethlehem Apparatus Company, Inc. guarantees all products against any defective workmanship for the life of the product. With specific reference to all Bethlehem Burners, we affirm that all burners are made in accordance with rigid specifications and meticulous procedures. All burners are subjected to test runs of unusually high heat conditions whereby we can simulate the worst conditions that normal operations will experience. To pass the test, the burner must be capable of withstanding the high heat conditions, using an oxygen and propane gas flame, for a period of not less than 15 minutes. This test simulates use of a burner under standard flame conditions for a standard 8-hour day of operation.

While we guarantee against all defective workmanship, we cannot set any specific time period for the life of the burner. Glass working conditions can vary greatly from one operation to the next. It has been our experience, that a burner when well maintained, with daily cleaning of all gas ports, can last as much as 35 years without any factory reconditioning. Unfortunately, it has also been our experience, that a new burner can be subjected to conditions of unusually high heat that will cause the high-temperature silver solder to melt inside the burner head which will then render the burner permanently damaged.

All product deficiencies must be reported as soon as they are observed, and the product must be returned immediately for full repair or replacement of warranty items.
